At Nebraska Health Imaging, we provide the best quality health care available. High field MRI imaging is performed in a GE 1.5 Tesla short bore scanner. We also have a Hitachi Elite open MRI scanner which accommodates claustrophobic and patients up to 500 pounds.

Our technologists are ARRT certified and have passed their MRI board exams through the ARRT.We are proud to be accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR). Accreditation programs through the ACR are in place to ensure the facility is providing the best quality patient care. Each accreditation program evaluates several different areas of patient care to include: personnel, equipment and images. Personnel providing care must meet and maintain specific qualifications. Equipment used to obtain the diagnostic images must be maintained and pass ongoing quality assurance specifications. Experts from the ACR review several studies obtained by the facility to ensure thoroughness and quality. Participation in ACR accreditation is voluntary and helps reinforce Nebraska Health Imaging's commitment to ongoing, quality patient care.

Interpretation of your exam will be by one of the UNMC Physicians Board Certified Radiologists. Our radiologists have additional training in their sub-specialty ensuring every interpretation is tailored with your best health care in mind.
