Scheduling an Exam:
Non-diagnostic 3D OB Ultrasound does not require a physician's order, so you can call us at (402) 384-8882 anytime to schedule your appointment!

3-D images may be obtained any time during your pregnancy, however, soft tissue detail is best visulaized between 28-32 weeks, making this the best time to aquire 3-D OB images.
 
What to Expect:
  • Your 3D OB Ultrasound will be performed by an RDMS certified, experienced sonographer, and will take about 45 minutes.
  • You will be given a CD with 2D and 3D pictures as a keepsake for your web page or baby book!
  • You can bring a few family members or friends with you to enjoy the moment, but space is limited in exam rooms so we ask to limit this to 2 or 3.
  • Our ability to obtain good images is dependent on many factors we cannot control, including your baby's positioning. We do everyting we can to get quality images but cannot guarantee a cooperative baby.
  • Nebraska Health Imaging offers front door parking, easy access from 78th and Dodge Street, and a very comfortable, homelike, atmosphere.
Cost:
A 3-D OB Ultrasound at Nebraska Health Imaging is just $150.00. Although most insurance plans do not cover additional 3-D ultrasound scans, if your insurance does cover 3-D and approves the procedure in advance, you will only be responsible for your co-pay, co-insurance, or deductible.

If 3D is not covered under your insurance, we do request payment the day of service. Gift certificates are available, if you have a loved one who may want to see their baby in 3D!
